Yep, it's ALREADY that time of year! Every year, it just seems unbelievable that the holidays are already upon us! I just never seem to be ready for it!
That said, I do love the holidays - the magic, the togetherness, the cocktails, the traditional/seasonal dishes we only get this time of year (so we must partake!), though the gluttony of the season doesn't always love me! 🥴
Looking for New Holiday Recipes Ideas?
I know that we all have our traditions with food and drinks that we make every year, but I'm always digging around for some new holiday recipes ideas, so I thought you may be too.
Therefore, in this newsletter, I thought to share some of my favorite recipes for the season (all using fresh herbs, of course! 🤗).
A Festive Drink: Christmas Mojito
I thought this drink was so pretty, and I love mojitos and coconut, so I decided to make it last year. It was so yummy!
I happened to have these red glasses, which really put it over the top, but it will look pretty in any glass with the red of the pomegranate arils and the green of the mint - Christmas Mojito.

A Vibrant Holiday Side: Confetti Carrots
I'm always looking for veggie dishes to serve with holiday meals. This carrot dish piqued my interest because I love maple and pomegranate, plus it has fresh herbs to add a burst of flavor.
Not only is it oh so good for you, but I love the way the little arils give me that refreshing pop of goodness in my mouth when I bite into one!
With the smattered amount of chives, thyme leaves, and sesame seeds, along with the pomegranate arils, it reminds me of confetti—hence the name: Confetti Carrots.
Of course, this side dish can be enjoyed any time of the year!

I have some other favorites, but unfortunately, I didn't take photos of them. 😕 I promise to be more diligent this year!
